Our Wedding Videos & Wedding DVDs

A unique record of your wedding day on video or DVD

At Forever On Film we believe firmly in understanding what our customers want and take time before every wedding we film to get to know them before the big day. By doing this we ensure that the filming, the editing and the final wedding video or wedding DVD is exactly that - your wedding, filmed how you want it to be remembered.

In the weeks prior to the wedding we will spend time with you discussing your requirements, the format of the day and making sure we know whether there are any guests or relatives you want featured on the video in particular. If your wedding is in the Oxfordshire, Berkshire or Wiltshire area and you have a rehearsal at the church or venue in which you are marrying, we will do our best to attend for our own understanding and to answer any last-minute questions you may have.

Formal and informal styles

Traditionally, our wedding videos are a careful blend of styles, chosen to be appropriate to the subject being filmed. Ceremonies are filmed formally so as to be totally discrete, reportage is used when filming more informal sections of the day such as the arrivals and, whilst shots can be set up on request or where appropriate, we tend to film the events of the day as naturally as possible. Our approach is regularly praised and the best commendation we can receive from our customers is that they hardly noticed us at all during the day and yet still received the wedding video they had always dreamed of.

Small broadcast quality cameras

In order to intrude as little as possible we keep the size of our equipment to a minimum. We use compact broadcast quality cameras with powerful zooms and can be set back on tripods throughout most of the day. If there is a risk of loss of sound quality during the ceremony we use discreet microphones, although we never attach these to the bride or groom - this just adds unnecessary pressure. We use natural lighting wherever possible and would never use huge studio type lights as some companies do. The added disturbance of unwieldy lighting equipment far outweighs any gains that may be made to the quality of the final production.

Two cameras means double the coverage

We use two cameras and two videographers at every wedding we film. This gives our service a flexibility and quality that we simply could not offer with one camera. It means we can be in two places at once, filming the bride's preparations and the arrivals at the church at the same time for example, but importantly it means we can cover the key parts of the day from multiple angles and in a greater level of detail than would ever be possible if we only had one camera. Two cameras ensures the final, edited video is a varied and enjoyable record of your big day that you will want to watch again and again.

We hold all the necessary licences to film in churches, record hymns, discos and musicians that you may have playing during the day. The cost of your video package also includes copyright licences that allow us to add music to the wedding video at the appropriate times. You can specify what songs we use by choosing a selection from your favourite bands or artists before the wedding if you wish.

You can also choose how you receive the final edited version of your wedding. Not only do we offer both video and DVD formats for the UK but we also have the ability to produce videos & DVDs suitable for viewing in almost any part of the world. The master copy of your wedding is archived by us indefinitely, meaning that you can still contact us years after your wedding and order more copies if you so wish.
