The wedding

Natacha and Chris Thompson first met us at a wedding fair held at the Randolph Hotel in Oxford City Centre. They attended the fair with the sole purpose of finding a videographer. After viewing our demo DVD at the fair, we loaned them their own copy to view at home. They were impressed and noted down everything that they would like for their wedding.

Having both attended universities in Oxford, indeed that is where they both met, they decided that getting married in the college chapel would be the perfect wedding for them. They wanted a very intimate affair for just 45 of their closest friends and family. Choosing to marry at University College, they held a drinks reception in the college gardens, with a string quartet playing. Their evening reception consisted of a 5 course meal in the college's banquet room.

The package

Filming on the day was based around the Perfect Day Package, but with additional filming until 10pm to capture the end of the speeches. As both of the colleges they had attended were nearby, they had requested that we get some footage of both during the morning, which we were happy to do. They also asked for some additional filming of their drinks reception to be filmed, and requested that we use the sound of the string quartet to edit the footage to. Finally they added the 'Story So Far' Photo Montage to their package, showing photos of them both growing up and becoming a couple, and the personal messages from their guests.

The wedding video

There had been specific shots on our demo DVD that they had both really liked, so we made a list and ensured that these shots were obtained for their video. Natacha and Chris had great input into their video, right down to selecting their own music, and together we created a very personal final product, which they were over the moon with.

The couple said...

" We thought the finished product was amazing - we were really pleased. It was better than anything we'd seen before so went way past what we were expecting. We just felt like we could step through the screen and join in again! "
