The Janmaat Wedding Case Study

The wedding

Jayne and Gerald Janmaat got married in a civil ceremony at Eynsham Hall, near Witney, in November 2003. Although Jayne's home town is Witney, she now lives in the Netherlands with Gerald. They are both out of the country most of the time, so we were required to deal with Jayne's initial enquiry, her booking and consequently all of the arrangements via email. We were more than happy to send letters back and forth to the Netherlands, and arrange a meeting with the couple at their venue, when they popped back to England for a few days.

The package

As theirs was to be an international wedding, they were prepared to give their guests something to remember and their wedding was extravagant and lavish. Their chosen package included all of the Big Day Package, but they wanted the entire day on film, and therefore booked additional filming of the bride and groom's preparations, personal messages from their guests and an extra 4 hours filming into the evening to capture their live band, the first dance, their evening guests, a belly dancer and fireworks.

The video

Forever On Film covered the entire day with two camera operators. Their final video was 2 hours and 45 minutes in length (one of the longest we have ever created) and was delivered to Jayne & Gerald in the Netherlands in time for Christmas.
