In this section we've answered the following questions:
A: As with any other wedding supplier, we do get booked up very quickly. With just one team of videographers we can only one film wedding each day. We would therefore recommend that you place your booking at least 12 months prior to the wedding. Popular dates in the spring and summer months fill up even quicker, so we would encourage you to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. However, there is always a chance that we will have availability for some dates (even in the spring and summer) a lot nearer to your wedding, so if you have decided at the last minute that you would like to have a wedding video, please do make an enquiry with us and we will be happy to film if we are available.
A: Once you have selected your video package we require a deposit of 25%, of the total cost of that package, at the time of booking. No date can be held in our schedule without receiving the deposit and the booking form being signed.
A: No, you book us and only us. We pride ourselves on our very personal service and our reputation is built on the high standard of our filming and editing. We never sub-contract our work out to other videographers - Katie films at every wedding we do along with one other member of the camera team. All of our editing is done in-house by Katie and you can therefore be sure of receiving a video filmed and edited in the same way as the ones you see on our demo DVD.
A: Yes. Once you have decided upon your video package, Forever On Film will draw up an agreement form for you the client and us to sign. This protects both of us, and clearly states exactly what you have booked and how much it will cost. You should never hire any professional without agreeing what will be delivered in writing.
A: No. We do not accept credit cards at present. All payments must be made by cheque, cash or bank transfer.
A: Forever On Film is not VAT registered, so you do not need to pay VAT.
A: In the event of cancellation by the client between paying the deposit and 120 days prior to the date of the event, the deposit shall be forfeited by the client. In the event of cancellation by the client between 30 and 120 days prior to the date of the event, the client shall be liable to pay a sum amounting to 75 per cent of the total agreed package price. In the event of cancellation by the client less than 30 days prior to the date of the event, the client shall be liable to pay a sum amounting to 100 per cent of the total agreed package price. Any cancellation must be submitted in writing to Forever On Film's postal address.
