At Forever On Film we try to ensure that placing a booking with us is easy and that there are no surprises for the person paying the bill. To assist with this, please read our answers to some of the most common questions on this topic below. If you would like to see a full list of Frequently Asked Questions, please return to the Wedding Video FAQ index. Questions answered on this page
Q. How far in advance of the wedding should we book you?A. As with any other wedding supplier, we do get booked up very quickly. With just two teams of videographers, we can only cover a maximum of two weddings on one date. We would recommend that you place your booking 12-18 months prior to the wedding. Popular dates in the spring and summer months obviously fill up more promptly, so we would encourage you to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. However, there is always a chance that we will have availability for some dates (even in the spring and summer) a lot nearer to your wedding, so if you have decided at the last minute that you would like to have a wedding video, please do make an enquiry with us and we will do our best to accommodate you. Q. What deposit do you require?A. Once you have selected your video package we require a deposit of 25%, of the total cost of that package, at the time of booking. No date can be held in our schedule without receiving the deposit and the booking form being signed. Q. Do you sub-contract business to other videographers or do we book exactly who we meet?A. Forever On Film is a family run business, and we pride ourselves on our very personal service. We never subcontract our work out to other videographers. The work you view on our demo tape is genuine examples from the same videographer who will film your wedding. All of our editing is done in-house as well. This means that from discussing your video package to placing a booking, from filming your day to editing the final video, you will always deal with the same person, this enables a very personal service. Q. Do we have to sign a contract?A. Yes. Once you have decided upon your video package, Forever On Film will draw up an agreement form for you the client and us to sign. This protects both of us, and clearly states exactly what you have booked and how much it will cost. You should never hire any professional without agreeing what will be delivered in writing. Q. Do you accept credit cards?A. We do not accept credit cards at present. All payments must be by cheque or cash. Read the full list of Wedding Video FAQs.
