Questions answered on this page

Q. Can we choose our own music?

A. Yes. We ask all of the couples we film wedding videos for to tell us what their favourite music is. Doing this makes your wedding video even more personal to you. Forever On Film holds all necessary copyright licences to allow us to film any hymns, songs or background music throughout your wedding day. We are also permitted to use any piece of music during the editing process.

Music can be dubbed over the original soundtrack at the editing stage, or added to the natural background sound. If you have any favourite pieces of music, we will be more than happy to include them on your wedding video. In fact, we encourage you to select your own music, as this makes the video much more personal to you.

Q. Will you attend the wedding rehearsal?

A. We always like to attend your wedding rehearsal, if you are having one. This allows us to meet with the vicar, and mutually agree on the best positions for our cameras. It also ensures that we know exactly where everyone will be standing throughout the service, and in which order everything is happening. We believe that this will ultimately provide you with a better video overall, as nothing will be missed and we can ensure the best possible shots at all times.

Q. Will our church/venue allow filming?

A. We always ask that our clients ensure that their church or venue are happy for the ceremony to be filmed. However, since videos are becoming more common place these days, it is becoming increasingly accepted by registrars and vicars alike.

Very rarely however, your church or venue may request that the ceremony is not filmed. However, we would still encourage you to have the rest of your day filmed, as these moments are just as important as the ceremony. After all, how often do you have all of your friends and family in one place at the same time!

Q. Should we provide a meal for the videographers at the reception?

A. Forever On Film would never demand that you provide your videographers with a meal. However, we are sure that you can appreciate it is a very long day for us as well. We will often be working for 8-10 hours with little time for any breaks, so should you be able to provide us with some food during the day we would be most grateful. The best time for us to eat is whilst you eat your wedding breakfast, so perhaps your venue would be able to plate up some food for us at the same time.
